The Cleveland Gladiators support Northeast Ohio Youth Football and Cheer programs that promote education, teamwork and an active lifestyle.
This summer, the Cleveland Gladiators will be hosting three one-day Youth Football Training Academies across Northeast Ohio. The academy will feature drills run by Gladiators Players and Personnel for campers (ages 5-14), as well as a free concussion and safety seminar for parents. Registration includes all camp activities, one FREE ticket per camper to TWO Gladiators games, discounted adult tickets, a private tour of Quicken Loans Arena and MUCH MORE!
The Cleveland Gladiators Youth Football & Cheer Programs of the Month reward character, discipline, skills, sportsmanship, and an active community role. Between September and October, five programs will be chosen as the Gladiators' Programs of the Month, with each winning program receiving, among other perks, a $500 grant from the Gladiators Community Fund. Submissions are currently closed, but check back in August to nominate a stellar local program!
Each week the Cleveland Gladiators will select a High School Impact Player of the Week, honoring an individual player's on-field contribution to their team's success. Each winning player will receive a plaque, recognition at a 2018 Cleveland Gladiators home game, an appearance at practice by a member of the Gladiators' football staff, as well as a $500 donation from the Gladiators Community Fund. All Northeast Ohio senior high school football players are eligible for the Impact Player of the Year scholarship, which will be awarded based on athletic and academic achievement, community involvement and a 500-word essay about the most important lesson that football has taught them. The Gladiators' four chosen finalists will each receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Gladiators Community Fund, while the winner, chosen from the final four, will be awarded an additional $1,000 scholarship.
