Wadsworth WR Palidar Named Player of Week

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Gladiators, presented by Unique Home Solutions, announced today that senior wide receiver Craig Palidar of Wadsworth High School has been named the Week 7 High School Impact Player of the Week for his standout performance in the Grizzlies’ 38-36 win over Twinsburg on Friday night.

Palidar caught ten passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns while also blocking a punt that went for a safety in helping improve Wadsworth’s record to 4-3 on the year.

“Few players make an impact in all three phases of the game,” said Wadsworth head football coach Justin Todd. “As a three-year starter, Craig has been a phenomenal leader on and off the field. He takes advanced school courses which speaks to his commitment to academics and is the best role model that anyone could ever ask for. We are extremely proud of him and all that he has done for our program!”

For winning, Palidar will receive an award recognizing his accomplishment, an appearance in-game at a 2017 Cleveland Gladiators home game, a visit at practice by Defensive Backs Coach Dominic Jones, as well as a $500 grant towards the Wadsworth High School football program.
