Gladiators Assigned DL Koroma and Stone

The Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League were assigned DL Alim Koroma and Corey Stone on Thursday.

Koroma, 27, joins the Gladiators for his second season in the AFL after last appearing for the Pittsburgh Power in 2011.

Prior to turning pro, the 6’3”, 299 lb. Hershey, Pa., native played his senior season in 2009 at Western Illinois University where he registered 39 tackles with the Leathernecks.

Koroma spent his previous three seasons at Penn State University, tallying 33 tackles and one and a half sacks.

Stone, 23, enters his first season in the AFL with the Cleveland Gladiators.

The 6’0”, 268 lb. defensive tackle played his college ball at Ferris State University where he registered 121 tackles and 15 tackles-for-loss during a three-year run (2012-14) with the Bulldogs.

Prior to his time at Ferris State, the Sterling Heights, Mich., native spent his 2011 season at Grand Rapids Community College.
