1- Since this is your first season playing with the Gladiators, what are your thoughts so far about the franchise and the team?
I’m enjoying every bit of it, meeting a lot of guys that played in the NFL, UFL and the guys that played in this league. So I’m learning a lot and every day is a learning experience.
2- Do you have any pregame rituals or routines?
Yeah, I have the whole day planned. When I wake up in the morning, I jump in the shower, clean my room and make sure it’s spotless. Then I listen to a couple some slow jams to keep me calm. Then I’ll go to breakfast with Hoke and Calvin, we’ll go to either Bob Evans or Yours Truly. Then I come back get my mind right and take a nap. I go ahead to the game, put my stuff on, warm-up, run some routes and I just get game ready.
3- What gave you the idea to create your blog, ‘Goodie’s Corner’?
Just a little idea my buddy told me for the team I played with last year, the Cincinnati Commandos. He told me to market myself a little bit and get people in-tune. It was just something I did and people enjoyed it and people kept making me want to do it, so I’m still doing it.
4- Two of your teammates, Anthony Hoke and Robert Redd, have made special guest appearances on your blog. If you could have anyone make a guest appearance on 'Goodie’s Corner', who would it be?
I would love to have Jerry Rice or somebody, but to be realistic it would probably be Deion Sanders.
5- What’s it like living with all of your teammates?
It’s a funny episode every day, Comedy Central every day. It’s nothing but comedians and jokesters.
6- Have there been any pranks that you’ve pulled on other teammates or that teammates have pulled on you?
I haven’t had any pranks pulled on me; I’m kind of like the quiet type. But I have seen pranks pulled. I got one on video. Redd got Quorey Payne. Quorey was sleeping in the car and all of a sudden, Red just hit the brake real hard and Quorey just woke up real fast and was scared because he didn’t really know what was going on. So that’s the only prank I really witnessed.
7- What are three things on your bucket list?
I would say, to travel around the world would be the one thing. Number two would be to go on a date with a celebrity. And three, would probably be to meet the Kim Kardashian.
8- If you had to have a last meal, what would it be?
Macaroni and cheese, greens, ribs, tacos, and some lobster and shrimp.
9- What types of music are currently dominating your iPod?
Wiz Khalifa, Lil’ Wayne, Young Jeezy and Big Sean.
10- With summer quickly approaching, what were your favorite summer activities to do as a child and do you still do any of those activities?
I would go to festivals around the neighborhood and basically just being the little troll that I was back in the day. I don’t go to any carnivals now because I’m grown. So now I just chill out and vacation a little bit since I make money now, back then I couldn’t really do it.
