High School Impact Player of the Week
Each week the Cleveland Gladiators will select a High School Impact Player of the Week based on individual players’ on-field impact on their respective teams’ success. Each winning player will receive a plaque, recognition at a 2017 Cleveland Gladiators home game, an appearance at practice by Gladiators Defensive Backs Coach Dominic Jones, as well as a $500 donation to the player’s high school football program.
The Gladiators’ High School Impact Player of the Week award will be announced every Tuesday during the season.
Isaiah Gullick, RB - Mentor High School
The senior’s five total touchdowns helped guide the Mentor Cardinals to a season-opening 57-31 home win over the Massillon Tigers on August 26th. READ MORE
Trey Bialowas, QB - Westlake High School
Bialowas accounted for five touchdowns to give the Westlake Demons a 34-31 week 2 road victory over the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs. READ MORE
Robby Levak, QB - Nordonia High School
The sophomore’s five total touchdowns helped guide the Knights to a Week 3 road victory, improving their record to 2-1. READ MORE
Jimmy Daw, RB - Medina High School
The senior totaled 155 yards and six rushing touchdowns in a win Elyria while setting a program single-season record with his 17th rushing score of the year after just four games. READ MORE
Dustin Crum, QB - Midview High School
Crum passed for 289 yards and rushed for 207 yards, while setting a school record for career passing touchdowns. Crum’s outstanding achievements helped guide Midview to the Week 5 home victory, improving their record to 4-1. READ MORE.
Davion Johnson, WR - Bedford High School
Johnson caught two touchdowns on the night while also returning a punt 86 yards for a score in helping keep Bedford unbeaten on the season at 6-0. READ MORE.
Craig Palidar, WR - Wadsworth High School
Palidar caught ten passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns while also blocking a punt that went for a safety in helping improve Wadsworth’s record to 4-3 on the year. READ MORE.
Ben Connor, QB - Beachwood Hgh School
Connor completed 13 of his 18 passes for 352 yards and five touchdowns while rushing six times for 62 yards and three more scores in helping improve Beachwood’s record to 3-5 on the year. READ MORE.
Brett Lowther, QB - Cuyahoga Heights High School
Lowther accounted for all three touchdowns, rushing for two and passing for another, to help improve Cuyahoga Heights’ record to 9-0 on the year. READ MORE.
Thomas Wilks, RB - Solon High School
Wilks rushed for 251 yards on the night, with three of his six rushing touchdowns coming from 41, 49, and 54 yards out to help Solon finish the regular season at 9-1. READ MORE.
